Week of March 26th

Hello all!

We have been learning about Christopher Columbus in listening and learning. We have discussed his journey to America, the ships he sailed (the Pinta, the Nina, and the Santa Maria), and how he influenced other European countries to travel westward. We will finish the unit with learning about Pilgrims and early settlers of North America.

We have finished all grammar units! We are now focusing on writing sentences that contain: verbs, nouns, and adjectives.

We are being introduced to new tricky words this week: why, when, to, and were. We are focusing on uppercase letters as well, we so far have been introduced to A-H.

Lastly, we are focusing on comparing numbers using the words ‘fewer’ and ‘more’.
